The Rex Durometer Test Block Kit is designed to give the user the ability to develop the proper "feel", and, while they are not to be used for calibration purposes, they enable the user to perform a quick check for proper durometer operation. A large variation would indicate the need for recalibration of the durometer being utilized. This should be done in accordance with the methods indicated in ASTM D-2240.

The Rex QC Pocket Shore Durometer isa small shore durometer that can be carried at all times. Should it be dropped, even if not in its leather carrying case, it will not be damaged or become inoperative 99 times out of 100. Because the gauge is so durable, the QC comes with a lifetime guarantee. The key to the gauge's durability is its sliding vernier scale- there are no cams, gears, or levers to wear out. This vernier scale holds the maximum reading, and is especially useful for testing in hard to reach areas. The vernier scale is marked in increments of 5 points, and with a little practice, one can obtain readings to within 1 point.

The Rex OS-2 compact operating stand for durometers in the A, B and O scale is used in conjunction with our Durometers to eliminate operator error sometimes associated with shop floor durometer testing. The stand features a load weight for the proper testing pressure as noted in ASTM D2240, and a quick-lock column for easy adjustment. It can be used with either the provided specimen holder or the optional O.R.F.-1 O-Ring Fixturing Set (sold separately).The OS-2H features an a dampener that lowers the durometer at the same rate for each test, resulting in superior repeatability for all durometer test.

The Checkline HP Series Shore Durometer isdesigned to measure the hardness or firmness of a wide variety of parts and test samples. This Durometer features a unique spring-operator test pressure shell, which helps insure that similar test pressures are used for each measurement. This system significantly enhances the measurement repeatability, especially between different operators. Oversized flat bottom surface makes position of working face (area of contact as specified in ASTM/DIN Standards) convenient and consistent which limits variability between operators.
